KATHMANDU, Aug 22: A suspicious object has been found in Balambu, Chandragiri, Kathmandu district. According to the police, the object, which appeared to be tied with a wire to a pressure cooker, was found in front of a house near Balambu School in Chandragiri Municipality-12.
The police have reported that a team led by Inspector Upendra Prasad Acharya from the Balambu Police Post has arrived at the scene, and a team from the Nepali Army has been notified to dispose of the suspicious object.
Suspicious object found in Biratnagar, two suspects arrested
Superintendent of Police (SP) Nabaraj Adhikari, the spokesperson for the Kathmandu Police Office, stated that police were deployed to the scene after receiving information about the suspicious object at 8AM. When the police arrived, they found an object resembling a pressure cooker inside a bag. The police have secured the area.
SP Adhikari reported that the army team has now arrived at the location where the suspicious object was found.
