Carters praises tribute match

KATHMANDU, April 10: Ryan Carters, who will lead Team Red during Phillip Hughes Memorial Tribute Match, said that the match is an exceptional tribute to the Australian cricketer.

Talking to Republica on Friday in Kathmandu, Ryan, an Australian cricketer representing New South Wales in the Australian domestic cricket competition, said that Nepal has done a good job by organizing the match to pay tribute to a champion and a nice person."It is an exceptional tribute and Nepal has done a good job," said Ryan, who felt that "everybody have been affected by the death of Phillip Hughes in Australia."

Furthermore, he added that it will be a nice experience to play with Nepali cricketers.

"It will be fun to play along with Nepali players and I am sure we will enjoy playing with each other," he added.
