KATHMANDU, Aug 1: The skies are expected to remain generally cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a likelihood of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in many areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in isolated parts of the Terai region, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Heavy rainfall forecast in Bagmati, several provinces
The weather will remain generally cloudy across the country tonight as well. Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in many parts of the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in some areas of the remaining Terai region. There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Bagmati Province, according to the DHM.
