APF divers mobilized to locate for missing motorcyclist in Trishuli River

On Friday morning, the motorcycle (Ba Pra-06-02 Pa 9204) crashed into a divider in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-5, Chitwan and the driver fell into the Trishuli River and went missing.

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Armed Police Force (APF) divers have been deployed to locate the rider who went missing after his motorcycle plunged into the Trishuli River along the Narayanghat-Kathmandu road section.


On Friday morning, the motorcycle (Ba Pra-06-02 Pa 9204) crashed into a divider in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-5, Chitwan and the driver fell into the Trishuli River and went missing.

The citizenship and identity card of 27-year-old Rohit Rana, a resident of  Chandreshwar Rural Municipality-3 of Lamjung and residing in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 of Chitwan, were found at the accident spot.


Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shailendra Thapa of the District Police Office, Chitwan, said that divers have been mobilized to locate missing Rana in the river. A team of six divers from the APF, Nepal Disaster Management Training School, Kurintar, under the command of APF Inspector Surya Ram Raut, has joined the search.
