KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Nepal made a strong start to the International Women's Football Tournament held in Kathmandu with a 1-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan on Monday.
In the match held at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu, hosts Nepal emerged victorious, thanks to the decisive goal scored by Bimala Chaudhary.

Chaudhary scored in the 11th minute of the match, which stood unchanged until the end. With this, Nepal has secured three points in the match featuring teams from Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar and Lebanon.
Nepal will face Lebanon on February 20. The tournament is being organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
