Sharma appointed Honorary Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Nepal

KATHMANDU, April 11: Construction entrepreneur Ramesh Sharma has been appointed the Honorary Consul General of Nepal for Kyrgyzstan.

KATHMANDU, April 11: Construction entrepreneur Ramesh Sharma has been appointed the Honorary Consul General of Nepal for Kyrgyzstan.


Dilip Kumar Poudel, chief of Protocol Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, handed over the appointment letter of Honorary Consul General to Sharma on Wednesday.

Sharma is the former president of the Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN) and is the managing director of Sharma & Company. It is said that Sharma is the first person from a construction business to be appointed as Honorary Consul General.


Sharma said that he will take special initiatives to bring in the investment of Kyrgyzstan in Nepal.
