Aanbu Khaireni Rural Municipality stops service after an employee tests positive for COVID-19

TANAHU, Aug 2: After one of its employees was found to have contracted coronavirus, Aanbu Khaireni Rural Municipality has stopped all its services from Sunday.

TANAHU, Aug 2: After one of its employees was found to have contracted coronavirus, Aanbu Khaireni Rural Municipality has stopped all its services from Sunday.


The rural municipality made this decision to curb the further spread of COVID-19, which will remain into effect till August 4.

The COVID-19 test conducted in Pokhara confirmed COVID-19 infection in a senior officer.


The chief health officer of the rural municipality, Agam Raj Upadhya said that nine individuals from quarantine facilities and contact tracing underwent COVID-19 test. One of them has tested positive for COVID-19. "The contact tracing of the infected people will be conducted at the earliest."
