KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Gold prices rose sharply in the domestic market on Friday, with the price of fine gold increasing by Rs 3,600 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is being traded at Rs 303,100 per tola on Friday, up from Rs 299,500 per tola on Thursday.
The price of silver also increased. Silver, which was priced at Rs 4,625 per tola on Thursday, rose by Rs 150 to Rs 4,775 per tola on Friday, FENEGOSIDA said.
