DANG, March 20: Lok Bahadur Dangi, former Salyan district chairman of the CPN-UML, manhandled Purna Bahadur Oli, the program officer at the District Development Committee, Salyan on Sunday.
Dangi kicked Oli at his office angry apparently over Oli's refusal allocate budget for Dangi's NGOs in the district. Dangi runs two NGOs, one led by him and another by his wife.

The District Development Committee allocated between Rs 1.6 and Rs 1.7 million rupees to four NGOs of the district.
"Dangi beat me asking why I did not allocate budget for his NGOs," said Oli, who has filed a case against Dangi with police. According to the police, they have started investigation into the case.
