KATHMANDU, March 31: Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and Women Development and Advocacy Centre (WDAC), Nepal are collaborating to provide fellowships for the people of Nepal to study Post Graduate Diploma Program in Disaster and Livelihood Recovery.
The fellowships will be provided under Jamsetji Tata School of Disaster Studies & Centre for Livelihood and Social Innovations, School of Social Work, to 20 Nepali students, according to Women Development and Advocacy Centre (WDAC), Nepal.

The program will be launched in June. Preference will be given to candidates who are working among disaster-affected communities. With two semesters of theory class at TISS and internship with organizations in Nepal, the program will be closely monitored by the TISS faculty members and WDAC team members, said the statement issued by the WDAC.
This program will help fellow interns to bring small changes to the organizations as many small and medium scale organizations are trying to recover from the effects of the devastating earthquakes of April 25 and May 13, according to the statement.
