The five-day event, which is being organized with the objective of promoting construction sector, will be of an international standard and will bring 89 domestic as well as overseas firms under one roof, according to the organizers.

The participating companies will be showcasing latest technology, materials and services available in the industry, said C.N Upadhyay, one of the directors of NCE.
The exhibitors of the event include business firms, contractors, electrical and other consultants, machinery and construction materials manufacturers and suppliers, safety, rescue and firefighting equipment suppliers, bank and insurance, among others.
Customers´ visiting the expo can get construction equipments and building materials, energy and power products, safety and security products, water and electrical engineering products, plumbing and sanitary wares, chemical and ad mixtures among others under the same platform.
“The event is a must visit expo for building designers, professionals, contractors, consultants, project managers, government authorities, wholesalers, town and urban planners, construction materials manufacturers, engineers and architects, power producers and developers, real estate developers, industrialists, businessmen, construction sector players and even individuals. Hence, they are our target visitors,” said Lal Chandra Gautam, another director of the NCE and co-ordinator of the event.
Gautam added that people should visit the expo as it is a professional platform for networking, investment and exchange of ideas.
Besides, according to the organizers, the expo is not just an exhibition but a technical get together as technical session is organized every day.
“We will be organizing a technical session on November 2 on ´Enhancing the Construction Environment for Better Tomorrow´ with an objective to raise awareness, concern and seriousness for development and construction industry,” said Hare Ram Shrestha, president of Society of Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms (SCAEF), who is organizing the technical session.
To enter at the expo, visitors can register themselves online at www.nepaconstruct.com.np and show the print of the confirmation received or register themselves at the entrance desk with their business card or buy the ticket at the entrance gate which will be nominally priced. According to the organizers, the amount collected from the entrance ticket will be spent on a social cause.
According to Gautam, around 35,000 direct personal invitations will also be distributed.
