The third edition of the annual event is being organized by Direction Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). Republica´s sister publication Nagarik daily is the sponsor of the event.Organizing a press conference in the capital on Friday, the organizers said shopping festivals like 'Nagarik UWTC Dashain Festival 2015' will be of great help to consumers ahead of the festive season.
The five-day event will have more than 80 stalls dealing on apparels and accessories, furniture products, decoration items, food commodities, and home appliances, among others. Dashain special food court, jewelry exhibition, and free face painting are the other attractions of the fair.
More than 30,000 people are expected to visit the event, according to the organizers.
"This annual event aims to offer different varieties of quality products in fair price to festive customers under a single roof," Bijuta Bijukchee, sales and marketing manager of DECC said. "We expect the event to be successful this year compared to previous years."
