The third edition of the annual event is being organized by Direction Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). Republica's sister publication, Nagarik Daily, is the sponsor of the five-day event.
Pashupati Murarka, president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), inaugurated the event amid a function on Wednesday. Speaking at the program, Murarka said events like this play a crucial role in increasing economic activities in the market ahead of the festive season. He also urged the government to resolve issues related to the Tarai unrest and economic blockade imposed by India. "These activities made adverse impact on national economy if they are not resolved immediately," he added.
