APF team leaves for India for security talks

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: A team of police lead by Kosh Raj Wonta, Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Armed Police Force (APF) left for New Delhi today to participate in bilateral talks.



According to the APF, the two-day meeting will start from Monday and is expected to discuss various issues like terrorism control, illegal weapons, drug trafficking, border security, crimes, fake currency smuggling and exchange of related information. [break]APF says, it´s a goodwill visit and meeting is expected to adopt new tradition and trends related to bilateral security concerns.



Other members in the team are DIGs Sushil Kumar Shrestha and Sailendra Khanal of APF, SSP Rajesh Shrestha of APF, DIG Surendra Bahadur Shah of Nepal Police, Director of National Investigative Department Dev Raj Bhatta and Joint-secretary Sambhu Prasad Ghimire of Home Ministry.
