KATHMANDU, April 29: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast a combination of rain and storms nationwide.
According to the Division, there’s a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder or lightning in isolated areas of the Gandaki, Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with potential light snowfall in higher elevations.
Heavy rainfall likely in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini
Windstorms are expected this afternoon in portions of Lumbini, Madhesh, and Koshi provinces, with scattered occurrences elsewhere.
As night approaches, the Division expects light rain with thunder in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali, as well as the chance of light snowfall in higher hills and mountainous regions.
Lumbini and Koshi provinces may also experience stormy conditions, along with a few other areas.
