KATHMANDU, Sept 30: The country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds and local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Heavy rainfall likely in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini
The skies are expected to remain generally cloudy nationwide. Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in some areas of the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and in a few places across the remaining provinces. The MFD has also warned of the possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
By nightfall, the weather in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces will remain generally cloudy, while other regions will experience partly cloudy conditions. Moderate rainfall is likely in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, a few places in Lumbini, and in one or two places of the remaining provinces, according to the MFD.
