27 polling stations in Humla classified as highly sensitive

District Police Office Humla DSP Shankar Khadka informed that 89 Nepal Police personnel and 284 election security personnel will be deployed at the highly sensitive polling stations.

HUMLA, Feb 2: Ahead of the House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5, a total of 27 polling stations in Humla district have been placed on the highly sensitive list from a security perspective.



According to the District Police Office, Humla, 21 polling stations have been classified as sensitive, while 13 polling stations are considered normal.

District Police Office Humla DSP Shankar Khadka informed that 89 Nepal Police personnel and 284 election security personnel will be deployed at the highly sensitive polling stations.


Similarly, 65 Nepal Police personnel and 128 election security personnel will be mobilized at the 21 sensitive polling stations, while 39 Nepal Police personnel and 65 election security personnel will be deployed at the 13 normal polling stations, DSP Khadka added.


Across Humla district, there are 61 polling stations with a total of 64 polling centers.
