KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Chief of the Army Staff Gen Ashok Raj Sigdel returned home on Saturday after completing a formal visit to China.
Sigdel was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport by Lt Gen Pradip Jung KC upon his arrival.

During the visit, Sigdel paid courtesy calls on China’s defense minister and senior military officials. He also visited the National Defense University and other Chinese military training and educational institutions and units, according to a press release issued by the Nepali Army.
Sigdel also attended the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum held in Beijing during his visit.
The Nepali Army said the visit is expected to further strengthen the cordial bilateral and military relations between Nepal and China.
