KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Prabhuram Sharma returned home last night after completing his formal visit to the People's Republic of China.
Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Sita Ram Khadka welcomed the CoAS at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

During the visit to the northern neighbor, CoAS Sharma attended the opening ceremony of the 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum and held a meeting with Joint Chief of Staff Gen. Liu Zhenli of the Central Military Commission (CMC), People's Liberation Army (PLA), according to the Nepali Army Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
Likewise, CoAS Sharma visited various units and academic institutions of the PLA at Xian City, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Sharma had left Kathmandu for China on October 27.
