DOTI, July 11: Two sisters were electrocuted and four other students were injured at Padari of Dipayal-Silgadhi Municipality-14 on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as 10-year-old Roji and eight-year-old Reshma Auji, daughters of a local Ganesh Auji, according to the District Police Office, Doti.
Superintendent of Police Dilli Raj Bista said that the incident took place when they touched the broken electric wire while heading towards school.
Both the girls died on the spot in the incident. Similarly, Kalu Auji, 10, Ishwora Auji, 8, Santu Auji, 10, and Sita Auji, 8, were injured in the incident. They are receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Silgadhi.
Relatives of the deceased have not allowed the police to lift the bodies demanding compensation. RSS
