Two found dead, 5 looters arrested

ROLPA/KANCHANPUR, July 18: Basanta Nepali, the 16-year-old son of Dambar Nepali of Sakhi Jugepani in Rolpa, has been found dead in a jungle near his home. The deceased’s uncle had found him hanging on a tree, the police said, adding that a police team has been dispatched to the village to investigate the incident.



Likewise, fifty-four-year-old Sher Bahadur Saud, a truck driver from Suda VDC of Kanchanpur, has been found dead in a mysterious condition in his truck. His body was found inside the truck on Friday. Earlier, he had left for Attariya for work. Police said investigation is on.



Meanwhile, police have arrested five looters who looted cash and goods from Raju Nepali who was coming from Banbasa on the Indian side of the border on Thursday. The gang had looted Rs 15,000 cash and goods worth Rs 5,000 from Nepali.
