JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 22: Two young men who had gone for a feast from Janakpur two weeks ago have been found dead in India. Rohit Sah, 21 and Bishnu Sah, 22 of Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City were found dead in Sitamarhi, India.

Dhanusha District Police Office said that the bodies of both were found buried in a pit. According to the police, family members had reported the kidnapping to the police two weeks ago. After their bodies were found by the police, the family identified them.

Both the deceased are cousin brothers. Rohit took his uncle's son Bishnu to a feast in a relative's house in Bela Parihar of Sitamarhi district in India. His family said that they lost contact after both were kidnapped from there.

Devnarayan Sah, a relative of the deceased, said that a few days after they lost contact with the family, the kidnapper called his family demanding a ransom. According to him, the call was made from an Indian number.

The kidnapper initially demanded a 500 million rupees ransom. But when the family said that they could not give that much money, the kidnapper agreed to release the abductor for 200 million rupees.

The kidnapper didn’t agree on letting the family members talk to him over the phone. Later, the kidnappers recorded Bishnu's voice and sent it to his family. After that, Bishnu's family requested the police and leaders to pay the ransom. After the family collected the said amount, the kidnapper called them at Malangwa checkpoint in Sarlahi. But because the bank was closed, the withdrawal was delayed by a day.

After that, the kidnapper's mobile phone was switched off and the bodies were found four days later.

Their bodies have been identified. A police team along with his family has reached Sitamarhi in India. According to Dhanusha police, preparations are being made to bring their bodies from India to Nepal.
