The deceased was Dipendra Rana, helper of the tractor driver from Krishnapur-2, said Rajendra Nath, Sub Inspector at Area Police Office Jhalari.[break]
The tractor driver is absconding following the accident, the police added.
Meanwhile, a woman of about 50 years from Letang, Morang died after a motorbike (Ko. 8 Pa 4489) knocked her down on Monday night.
She died while undergoing treatment at a Hospital in Dharan.
Police have taken motorcyclist Laxmi Magar under control.
