The Kathmandu Metropolitan launched its Kathmandu Metro App to promote transparency of information through the use of information technology and getting closer to the Kathmandu denizens. Here’s three cool features:
- KTM Metro app (not to be confused with the metropolitan's app that has government's logo as its icon) provides information on various administrative procedures, its required documents, work duration and concerned authority involved. It also provides direction to Ward Offices under Kathmandu metropolitan
Citizen Life Insurance app now with additional features
- Clean KTM quickly lets users to report the Metropolitan City by sending pictures of garbage. Once a photo is taken, the app automatically turns in phone’s location to mark garbage location. The app is likely to help Kathmandu metropolitan to increase its cleanup campaign.
- Services tab: The services tab at the app’s home screen will lead one to list of services, its forms, formats and municipality updates on specific categories. The tab brings together diverse services into one platform, thereby saving time.
We hope that the app, currently compatible to Android phones will be useful to Kathmandu denizens.
