KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Sajilo Pay, a payment service company licensed by the Nepal Rastra Bank has released the county’s first multilingual app ‘Sajilo Pay’ on the occasion of Dashain festival. In an effort to launch its app in all the languages of the country as well as respecting Nepal’s diversity and culture, the company launched the Sajilo Pay app in eight different languages.
The app can be used in Nepali, English, Tharu, Maithili, Tamang, Newari, Magar, Gurung, Rai, Limbu, Sherpa and Doteli languages. Sajilo Pay will add other languages in the future as well.

In addition, Sajilo Pay has brought forward plans to make the app free of bugs and encourage public participation to make the app available in every language. Keeping in mind that there could be linguistic errors in certain languages apart from Nepali and English in the app, a total of 10 users who find any linguistic and correct them will receive Rs 2,000 from the company through a random selection.
Similarly, as some words and sentences from the existing languages in the app are yet to be translated into the respective languages, 20 users who help translate one or more of the languages in its entirety will be awarded Rs. Four thousand through random selection.
Also, the first three users who translate and send the glossary and sentences of the languages apart from the existing ones in the app will be awarded Rs 7,000 each.
