KATHMANDU, July 17 : HoneyGuide has launched a mobile application named 'Trekking in Nepal'. The app features three popular trekking trails of the country -- Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp and, Ghorepani-Poon Hill.
Issuing a press statement, HoneyGuide said the mobile app intends to keep travelers safe and engaged and guides trekkers in the right path by deviation alerts. "One of our, Avalanche Alerts, alert trekkers when they enter avalanche prone areas," the statement added.

This app is believed to solve the problem of being lost while trekking and traveling in Nepal.
Abhishek Paney, co-founder of HoneyGuide, said: "You will never be lost again." The app also provides various information about cultural artifacts like prayer wheels, birds like Danfe and flowers like the rhododendron that lie along the trail, according to the statement.
