"An interlocutory interim order has been issued in the name of the defendant under Rule 42 of the High Court Rules, 2073, instructing that no candidacy registration forms be submitted and no other election-related activities be carried out," the order specifies.

The ANFA had previously announced an election schedule set for February 11. The court has arranged a hearing for January 20 to facilitate discussions between both parties.

In the petition filed by Amit Khatri against the National Sports Council, a request was made to postpone the elections, citing that the current committee's term remains valid for another six months.
