Star Hospital launches online consultation service amid lockdown

KATHMANDU, April 15: Star Hospital located at Sanepa, Lalitpur has launched online consultation services with an integrated Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) to provide safe and hassle-free service to the public amid the nationwide lockdown.

KATHMANDU, April 15: Star Hospital located at Sanepa, Lalitpur has launched online consultation services with an integrated Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) to provide safe and hassle-free service to the public amid the nationwide lockdown.


The hospital's initiative is targetted to facilitate patients facing difficulties while seeking medical assistance amid lockdown imposed to stem the spread of COVID-19.


Telemedicine services can be availed through the hospital’s official website www.starhospital.com.np which guides an individual through a simple process of how to receive Tele-consultation from the concerned physician with video conferencing features, examine reports and obtain prescriptions.

This facility can also be obtained by calling Star Hospital at 01 5550197 /01 5550198 or any other phone numbers indicated on the hospital website.


Furthermore, the hospital has also commenced sample collection service at the individual’s doorstep for laboratory-related examinations involving blood, urine and stool sample.


Earlier, the hospital had also launched a COVID-19 Risk Self-Assessment service
