Western Union launches home delivery service amid lockdown

KATHMANDU, April 22: The Western Union, a money transfer service in Nepal, has initiated home delivery service amid the lockdown. 


The service is aimed at facilitating the comany's customers in sending and receiving money easily even during the lockdown in collaboration with Annapurna Travels and Tours and Hulas Remittance.

According to the press release issued by the company, the home delivery service will be available from 10am to 4pm every day.


Similarly, the company urged its customers willing to enjoy the facility to contact Annapurna Travel and Tours or Hulas Remittance, to identify the nearest branch, after getting notifications from the sender. The customers can simply dial (+977) 014223530 and (+977) 9851019973.


The request will then be sent to the home delivery team. Once the details are obtained and verified, the agent representative will arrive at the receiver’s residence with the money.
