KATHMANDU, August 15: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded that the government safely returns Nepalis living in Afghanistan to Nepal. RPP has demanded the repatriation of Nepalis living in Afghanistan, saying that the threat of a civil war in Afghanistan has increased due to the increasing attacks of the Taliban insurgents.
RPP Chairmen Pashupati SJB Rana, Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani and Kamal Thapa in a joint statement said, "RPP demands the Government of Nepal ensure the safe repatriation of Nepalis living in Afghanistan and to ensure their full security."

Similarly, RPP has also drawn the attention of the government to make strong diplomatic efforts to meet the legitimate demands of the veteran ex-British Gurkha soldiers. "Expressing solidarity with their struggle, we urge the British Government to meet the demands of the soldiers," the statement reads.
British Gurkha soldiers have been on a hunger strike in front of the British Prime Minister's Office demanding equal pensions and salaries.
