Province-2 will be made an agrarian province

SAPTARI, June 28: Province-2 Minster for Land Management and Agriculture Cooperative Shaielndra Prasad Sah said emphasis on agriculture has been reflected in policy and program to make Province -2 an agrarian province.

SAPTARI, June 28: Province-2 Minster for Land Management and Agriculture Cooperative Shaielndra Prasad Sah said emphasis on agriculture has been reflected in policy and program to make Province -2 an agrarian province. He said this while inaugurating the National Mango Festival-2076 at Surunga Municipality-6, Sripur Kushaha in Saptari.


The state government plans a massive installation of dip boring and distributing shallow tube well to small farmers to increase their access to irrigation. He further said the state government has rolled out a plan to develop agriculture as an industry and involve youth force in the country by generating agro-based employment. It is shared that mango farming is being cultivated in 500 hectares of land in Surunga municipality-6, Sripur.
