KATHMANDU, Feb 8: The government started administering the COVID-19 vaccines to journalists, employees at UN agencies, embassies and various diplomatic missions from Monday.

The vaccination for media persons has been arranged at the Kathmandu-based Civil Hospital.


The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has been providing Covishield vaccines, donated by India, to the frontline journalists in the second phase of vaccination after vaccinating 184,857 frontline workers including health workers, sanitation workers and security personnel across Nepal.
