Durga Singh and Bharat Bahadur Bohora promoted to AIG

Previously, the Ministry of Home Affairs had recommended Singh and Bohora for promotion on December 13.

KATHMANDU, Dec 20:  Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Nepal Police, Durga Singh, and Bharat Bahadur Bohora, have been promoted to the position of Additional Inspector General (AIG).


According to the Spokesperson at Nepal Police Headquarters Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bishwa Adhikari, a cabinet meeting held on Friday approved the promotion of Singh and Bohora to the vacant posts of AIG.

Previously, the Ministry of Home Affairs had recommended Singh and Bohora for promotion on December 13.


Singh is currently serving at the Province Coordination Department of the Police Headquarters, while Bohora works at the Operation Department of the Police Headquarters. Singh topped the promotion list with a score of 71.9050, followed by Bohora with a score of 70.9966.
