PALPA, Oct 25: A woman has been arrested from Tansen municipality- in the case of human trafficking.
Sharmila Khatri of Butwal-13 was found taking three girls fooling them with a job.
Human trafficking through Pashupatinagar on the rise
Khatri had been staying at Debinagar, Butwal and she was trying to take three girls who had come for the Dashain festival, informed Arjun Thapa, a local.
The victims were Mamata Kumal, 16, Susmita Kumal, 15 and Anisha Chaudhary, 14 informed District Police Office.
After locals came to know about the incident, they immediately informed the police. A team deployed from District Police Office got hold of human trafficker Sharmila Khatri, informed Police Inspector Amrit Bhandari.
The girls have already been sent to their respective homes after necessary investigation and Khatri is under the police custody.
