KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli emphasized the importance of unity for Nepal's development during the annual general meeting of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). He said that the necessary infrastructure for progress has already been established.
Oli said that with advancements in technology and equipment, development is achievable. "There are no remote areas left in Nepal. If we work together, we can make our country prosperous," he said.
In response to comments made by Pushpa Kamal Dahal, chairman of the Maoist Center, Oli said that the threat of “we have only laid down arms” should not come from any side, adding although they had not used arms, they knew how to [make others] lay down arms.
