KATHMANDU, Oct 25: The seventh series of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League-2 starts on Friday.
Today, the first match of the series will be played between the USA and Scotland. The match is scheduled to begin at 9:15 PM (Nepali time) at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas, USA.
Nepal, along with three teams, will participate in the match in the ODI format. As part of the tournament, Nepal is set to play against the USA on Sunday.

The match between Nepal and the USA will also begin at 9:15 PM.
Similarly, Nepal will play against Scotland next Thursday and there will be a match between the USA and Nepal on November 2. Nepal will play against Scotland again on November 4.
Nepal’s performance in the League 2 tournament is quite weak as they are about to play league-2 for the third time. Currently, Nepal stand at seventh place on the points table of League-2. Having played eight matches, the team has secured only one victory and suffered six defeats.
Similarly, Canada stand at the top of the league-2 points table. Canada have won eight of the 12 matches played so far and collected 16 points. Additionally, the USA are in second place with 12 points after winning six matches, while the Netherlands stand at third place with 12 points based on net run rate.
Namibia stand at fourth place with 10 points while Scotland are in fifth place with nine points. Oman stand at sixth place with six points and United Arab Emirates are in eighth place.
Following the conclusion of League-2, a triangular T20 international series will be held between the three nations.
