KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Nepal is set to face the USA today in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas. The play is scheduled to start at 9:15 PM (Nepal Time).
The Nepali team, captained by Rohit Kumar Paudel includes Anil Sah, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Bhim Sarki, Dipendra Singh Airee, Arjun Saud, Aarif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Karan KC, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Gulshan Jha, and Rijan Dhakal. Additionally, Dev Khanal and Sagar Dhakal are in reserve.
Road to ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 starts in September
In the one-day format tournament, three teams, including Nepal, will participate. As part of the competition, Nepal will play against Scotland on Thursday, while the match between the USA and Nepal is scheduled for November 2. Nepal will compete against Scotland again on November 4.
Nepal's performance in the League 2, where they are playing for the third time, has been quite weak. In Men’s League 2, Nepal stands 7th on the table having played 8 matches - one win, one draw, and 6 losses.
