NSC to fete ASIAD silver medalists with Rs. 500,000 each

KATHMANDU, Aug 31: The National Sports Council has decided to provide Rs. 500,000 each to the paragliding team who won a silver medal in the ASIAD games after 20 years.

The prize distribution is in line with the NSC's rules of providing Rs. 1 mllion, Rs. 500,000 and Rs. 300,000 to players who win gold, silver and bronze in the ASIAD games respectively.


The paragliding team is scheduled to arrive in the country on Monday. Nepal had participated for the first time in paragliding in the ASIAD games.
