KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Wednesday fell marginally by 3.51 points to close at 1,949.85 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,953.35 points and hit the day’s highest at 1,955.6 points in the first five minutes of trading. However, the market fell as low as 1,943.19 points in the next half an hour before it went through a series of fluctuations to regain around six points to close for the day.

Only two sub-groups including microfinance and trading gained while the rest of 11 trading groups lost in their market values. The daily turnover fell to Rs 842.69 million from Rs 957.06 million on Tuesday.
In the intraday trading on Wednesday, 64 companies added up in their share prices, while 124 companies lost their market value. Himalayan Distillery Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 47.93 million. Laxmi Equity Fund was the top loser whereas GreenLife Hydropower Limited gained the highest percent of its share price.
