KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) slid marginally by 7.72 points on Wednesday to close at 1,921.99 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,929.70 points and reached the day’s high at 1,933.93 points. However, the market then went to a straight fall and hit as low as 1,913.36 points, which was followed by a series of fluctuations.

The daily turnover declined to Rs 1.022 billion from Rs 1.352 billion on Tuesday. Only two groups—manufacturing and processing and trading—gained 40.57 points and 5.27 points respectively. The rest of 11 trading groups had their market values decline in the intraday trading.
Among the individual companies, Nepal Bank Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 127.74 million. While Standard Chartered Bank Limited was the topmost loser, Civil Bank gained the highest percent in its share price.
