KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday declined 16.14 points to close at 1,922.16 points.
Despite gaining over 60 points in the past two days, the market failed to boost the investors’ confidence on Thursday. The daily turnover amount that rose to over Rs 1 billion yesterday again fell to as low as Rs 898.90 million.

The market opened at 1,938.30 points and escalated to the day’s maximum at 1,940.42 points. However, the market declined in the successive trading hours.
Eleven out of the 13 trading groups posted losses in their market values. Life insurance and non-life insurance gained nominal points.
Everest Bank Limited had its total share transaction worth Rs 40.35 million, the largest of all. Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha was the topmost loser while Unilever Nepal Limited gained the highest percent in its market value.
