KATHMANDU, Nov 7: Ambassador of Nepal to Japan Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi presented the Letters of Credence to His Majesty The Emperor, at a special ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Monday.
On this occasion, Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Kikuta Yutaka expressed congratulations to Dr Subedi.

Ambassador Kikuta mentioned that Japan and Nepal have enjoyed a long history of friendly relationship, and he is glad that the Emperor received the credentials by the new Ambassador in the year 2022, which marks the 120th anniversary since the first eight Nepali students were dispatched to Japan for their studies.
Ambassador Kikuta said he looks forward to working with Ambassador Dr Subedi for further promoting the bilateral relations and friendship between Japan and Nepal.
