KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Nepal recorded 1,467 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday along with 1,550 recoveries and nine deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 15,690 tests were conducted on Friday. Of them, 1,103 PCR and 373 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 20,287 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 18,969 are in home isolation, 1,318 in institutional isolation, 347 in ICUs and 105 on ventilators. Similarly, 244 people are currently in quarantine facilities.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 364 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 256 were recorded in Kathmandu, 35 in Bhaktapur and 73 in Lalitpur districts.
