KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Nepal has recorded 533 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday along with 490 recoveries and nine deaths, according to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Among the 11,664 tests conducted on Monday, 441 PCR and 92 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus. So far, 72,53,285 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 across the country.

There are currently 9,633 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 8,598 are in home isolation, 720 in institutional isolation, 241 in ICUs, and 74 on ventilators. Similarly, 118 people are in quarantine facilities.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu valley recorded 228 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 162 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 16 in Bhaktapur, and 50 in Lalitpur districts.
