KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Nepal recorded 672 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday along with 490 recoveries and eight deaths, according to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 9,495 tests were conducted on Wednesday. Of them, 582 PCR and 90 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus. So far, 6,770,154 people have been administered full doses of COVID-19 vaccines across the country.

There are currently 10,715 active cases of COVID-19 across Nepal. Of them, 9,550 are in home isolation, 825 in institutional isolation, 254 in ICUs, and 86 on ventilators. Similarly, 216 people are in quarantine facilities.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 202 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 137 were recorded in Kathmandu, 15 in Bhaktapur, and 50 in the Lalitpur districts. So far, 57 percent of the people in Bagmati Province have been fully vaccinated against the deadly virus.
