KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Nepal records 408 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with 518 recoveries and eight deaths, according to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Among the 7,899 tests conducted on Sunday, 376 PCR and 32 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus. So far, 71,89,689 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 across the country.

There are currently 9,671 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 8,615 are in home isolation, 761 in institutional isolation, 225 in ICUs, and 70 on ventilators. Similarly, 211 people are in quarantine facilities.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu valley recorded 119 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 99 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, seven in Bhaktapur, and 13 in Lalitpur districts.
