KATHMANDU, June 24: Nepal has recorded 2,474 new cases, 2,518 recoveries and 24 deaths on Thursday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 7,235 PCR tests and 4,997 antigen tests were conducted on Thursday. Of them, 2,518 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 casetally has surged to 659,365 including 570,958 recoveries and 8,918 deaths.

There are currently 49,555 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 46,502 in institutional isolation, 736 in ICUs, and 207 on ventilators.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 335 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. Of them, 234 were detected in Kathmandu, 33 in Bhaktapur and 68 in Lalitpur districts.
