KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Nepal recorded 104 new cases of COVID-19 along with 201 recoveries and two deaths from the deadly virus on Sunday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,423 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 202 PCR and 84 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 2,331 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 2,236 are in self-isolation, 80 in institutional isolation, 14 in ICUs and one on ventilator. So far, 12,014 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 41 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. Of them, 32 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, one in Bhaktapur, and eight in Lalitpur districts.
