NC, UML to get 37 district chairmanships each in Land Commission

As per the deal, both the UML and NC will receive 37 districts each, while other parties supporting the government will be allocated the chairmanship of three district committees of the Land Commission.

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: The ruling parties have reached an agreement on the allocation of district chairpersons for the Land Commission. The agreement is between the ruling coalition partners—the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN-UML.
