Balen takes strong lead in Jhapa–5 vote count

According to the latest vote count, Balendra Shah (Balen), senior leader of RSP, has secured 5,254 votes, far ahead of his closest rival KP Sharma Oli of the CPN-UML , who has garnered 1,248 votes and stands in second position.

KATHMANDU, March 6: The Jhapa-5 Constituency vote count shows the Rastriya Swatantra Party taking a commanding early lead.



According to the latest vote count, Balendra Shah (Balen), senior leader of RSP, has secured 5,254 votes, far ahead of his closest rival KP Sharma Oli of the CPN-UML , who has garnered 1,248 votes and stands in second position.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress (NC) candidate has secured 185 votes.


The Nepali Communist Party has received 129 votes, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has secured 111 votes.
